I wish everyday were Saturday

This morning was lovely......no alarm going off, no rushing out the door to the office.
I slept as late as I possibly could, then moseyed downstairs and made a cup of coffee (using my awesome new Keurig coffee machine--which I love because it make one perfect little cup just for me)

I laid around being a total bum, washed some clothes, laid around some more, folded the clothes, put them up, laid around some more/watched the Rachel Zoe Project then I was ready to run some errands.

I decided to spray tan first, seeing that you cannot shower for 4 hours and I have a dinner at 7......
Then I hit up Target, where I found myself wandering the aisles for nothing in particular.... some Burts Bees hand salve, a cinnamon apple pie candle for my kitchen, some sparkly new lip gloss and most important--- $10 cash back at the register so I could drive thru the nearest car wash.

I went to the gym and then I was on a mission to find the nearest car wash.....

Car Wash #1- "Out of Order" roll my eyes and drive off......
Car Wash #2- "No Longer Operating"eye roll, bad word, drive off........
Car Wash #3-  Put my $10 in DRIVE FORWARD light comes on and there I go, finally.......my       car is going to be clean.  The PRESOAK light comes on and some soapy stuff sprays the car, then........................................ NOTHING

I sat there in my "pre soaked" soapy car for about 15 seconds, confused as to why the car wasn't being rinsed?  After about 30 seconds and numerous bad words I drive off (wanting to honk at the machine--but obviously that wasn't going to help me or start the machine back up)

Luckily next to the drive thru car wash is the actual car wash where human beings wash your car.  (I deliberately chose not to go there because I didn't want to sit inside on their dated wicker furniture looking at a Sports Illustrated for 10 minutes)

Back to the story....

I pull up, roll down my window (keep in mind my car is covered in soap)

"Excuse me, I just paid for a carwash over there and it stopped working----and I'm not happy about it.....I don't know what to do"

Car Wash Guy: "Okay ma'am just pull forward and have a seat inside, we'll take care of it"

(sigh) "Okay Thank You"--proceed to go inside, sit on dated wicker furniture and read the Sun Herald for 10 minutes.

But....my car is now clean so I'm not complaining.

I do wish I could've seen myself, I'm sure the guys at the car wash laughed for a good while....

I'm catching up on Real Housewives D.C. as I blog--man I looooove this show.  Makes me want to be dressed up and wearing a ton of make-up (and take a trip to D.C.)  Actually, it's time for me to start the transformation process for dinner tonight.  No make-up/work out clothes to too much make-up/cocktail dress.

Saludos!
